The linear and geometric shapes of the Bauhaus inspire designer Serge Cornelissen. For this reason his projects are characterized by maximum reduction and an almost architectural structure. A splendid example: MICK designed for Wever & Ducré, characterized by precision machined edges and surfaces. “MICK is like a carved precious stone to which the facets give character”, comments the designer, letting this slender luminaire stand out from the wall and ceiling in matt black or white.

Seen from afar, MICK appears decidedly minimalist. But if you look a little closer you discover the richness of the style that is reflected in the details. A ‘magnificent minimalism’, so to speak.
