With its exaggerated dimensions, the w151 Extra large pendant lamp, created by Claesson Koivisto Rune for the Wästberg brand, boldly rejects today’s reductivism, while restoring the room-shaping qualities of the pendant lamp. Based on the most basic geometric shape, the cone, the w151 extra large pendant is available in three variations, ranging from tall and narrow to low and wide. All three are large in size, pushing the limits of manufactured spun aluminum, yet capable of fitting through a standard door frame. To keep the silhouette elegant and clean, while supporting the weight of the metal lampshades, a suspension wire is integrated into the cable.
