BEAT STOUT

The Beat series of lamps, recognized in homes, restaurants and hotels around the world, is an exercise in expressive minimalism. The original design was born from the sculptural simplicity of the traditional brass saucepans and water vessels of the subcontinent. Beat Stout is a large brass ceiling light that features a warm, golden interior to match. Crafted from sculpted hand-spun brass by artisans in North India, the creation of this Beat lamp is part of an ancient process that takes four days to complete. The wrought interior is repurposed to refract and reflect a soft, warm glow, and the architectural scale emits a higher light output.
