The linear and geometric shapes of the Bauhaus inspire designer Serge Cornelissen. For this reason his projects are characterized by maximum reduction and an almost architectural structure. A splendid example: MICK designed for Wever & Ducré, characterized by precision machined edges and surfaces. “MICK is like a carved precious stone to which the facets give character”, comments the designer, letting this slender luminaire stand out from the wall and ceiling in matt black or white. Seen from a distance, MICK appears decidedly minimalist. But if you look a little closer you discover the richness of the style that is reflected in the details.
