Uptown by Foscarini, designed by Ferruccio Laviani, is an iconic and colorful floor lamp inspired by the skyscrapers of metropolitan cities. This luminous sculpture combines strong decorative impact with architectural references, perfect for design enthusiasts seeking a statement piece. Emitting indirect and semi-diffused light, Uptown consists of three lacquered glass parallelepipeds, precisely cut at a 45° angle, and bonded onto a transparent polyurethane resin base for optical clarity. The three elements are capped with transparent PMMA tops and secured onto a weighted base finished in polished stainless steel. The integrated COB LEDs are housed in an aluminum plate, shielded by an anti-glare metal frame. The lamp is completed with a black cable and Foscarini’s original dimmer, ensuring functional elegance.
