ENIGMA 545 – brushed aluminium
Enigma 545 by Louis Poulsen, designed by Japanese designer Shoichi Uchiyama in 2007, expands the Enigma product family. This version, larger than the Enigma 425, features floating screens supported by ultra-thin wires, creating a light and transparent expression. The name “Enigma” symbolizes the mystery of the screens, which appear to hover when illuminated. The design blends Japanese elegance with Scandinavian simplicity, offering a fresh interpretation of the multi-screen concept in line with Louis Poulsen’s product philosophy. In 2018, a new black edition was introduced, adding decorative possibilities and creating a serene visual effect while shaping and directing the light. This lamp beautifully merges aesthetics with functionality, providing a unique visual experience.
