Fontana Arte SETAREH medium table – glossy black, white

This is the name of the family of lighting fixtures that Francesco Librizzi, a young Sicilian architect based in Milan, designed for FontanaArte for the first time. Setareh was born from the theme of giving body to light. The lamp is composed of a mouth-blown white satin glass sphere magically suspended inside a thin metal structure. A game of masses and circular trajectories generates a balanced drawing of gravitational dynamics. The light emanating from the sphere spreads over the surrounding space and irradiates the frame. The reflections of the metal make the luminous field visible, the space influenced by the light, its aura. The result is a collection of lighting fixtures, available in table and suspension versions, of extraordinary poetic grace. The suspension version comes in several variants: bare with only the frame and the luminous sphere (also available in the version with three spheres), with a white curved glass diffuser (diameter 45.65, 85cm) or with a white painted metal disc or black (diameter 45, 65, 85,100 cm). Setareh takes on a new dimension: elongated with two or three luminous spheres, to work both individually and by multiplication. Its vocation is that of large spaces, double heights and architectures that can also accommodate large compositions of several elements. A firmament of Setareh, star from the ancient Farsi language.
