ECLISSE – black chrome
Eclisse by Artemide, designed in 1965 by Vico Magistretti, is a symbol of Italian design recognized worldwide, winner of the prestigious Compasso d’Oro in 1967. This table lamp, capable of combining form and function in an innovative way, allows you to adjust the light intensity thanks to its rotating internal lampshade, which “eclipses” the light source. Its design is based on a simple but ingenious concept: a fixed external casing and a mobile internal one that allows you to modulate direct or diffused light. Award-winning and iconic design, part of the permanent collections of the main design museums, including the MoMa in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan. Light adjustment: the rotating internal lampshade allows you to choose between direct or diffused light, to create the ideal atmosphere. Materials and colors, painted metal body available in white, red, orange, yellow and in PVD finishes (black, brass, copper or mirror), made with an innovative sustainable vacuum deposition process. Respect for the environment: the PVD production process uses only metals that are not harmful to health and minimizes emissions, with an ecological protective painting phase that uses a reduced quantity of solvents. Versatile, it can be used as a table lamp or mounted on the wall, offering flexibility and style in any environment. L’Eclisse by Artemide represents a perfect balance between design and functionality, a timeless icon that continues to illuminate domestic and professional spaces with elegance and innovation.
